Theft Of Stop Signs

On or about the morning of March 15^th 2008, unknown persons took newly erected stop signs at the intersection of Seasons Road and Ferguson Roads. Two stop signs were taken, as well as two ‘stop ahead’ signs and warning flags. The signs are valued at $550. Due to the fact that missing stop signs can pose a serious risk to motorists, as well as the fact that the total value of the signs makes the theft a felony, the Streetsboro Police Department is actively investigating the case. Anyone with any information regarding the theft is asked to contact the Streetsboro Police Department at (330) 626-4976. New signs have been posted at the intersection. If you see anyone tampering with those signs, you are asked to call the above number or dial 911.
